Sean is President and Chief Investment Officer of Shelter Rock Management. He has three decades of experience in portfolio management and investment research. Prior to Shelter Rock, he was a member of Heirloom Capital Management, an investment fund that had assets in excess of $500 million. He was responsible for the firm’s investments in telecommunications, media, technology and other industries. He was also a member of the investment fund Zinc Capital Management where he focused on technology investments. Mr. Chaitman was formerly a senior equity research analyst at Jesup & Lamont Securities Corporation and a member of Smith Barney’s value stock research team. At these firms he worked with portfolio managers and analysts at some of the largest institutional investment companies worldwide.
Sean has an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BS in Economics from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. He has been quoted and featured in The Wall Street Journal, Investor’s Business Daily, Forbes and The Wall Street Transcript.
Andrew is Executive Vice President of Shelter Rock Management. He is responsible for managing client relationships, business development and corporate operations. Andrew is a seasoned financial services executive with three decades of investment-related industry experience in institutional sales and trading, portfolio and wealth management. Prior to Shelter Rock, Andrew was an institutional sales and trading Managing Director and Vice President at firms including Penserra Securities, HSBC Securities, the New York Stock Exchange, Jefferies & Company and Instinet Corporation. At these firms, he helped manage trading relationships with some of the world’s largest institutional investment companies. Prior to this, Andrew was a portfolio manager at Sanford Bernstein & Company, where he invested over $700 million in assets for wealth management clients. Andrew began his professional career with Merrill Lynch, in a financial advisory capacity, where he provided retirement plan expertise to small business corporations.
Andrew has a BA in Political Economy from Tulane University.
Mike is Vice President of Institutional Business Development of Shelter Rock Management. He is responsible for building and managing the firms’ institutional client relationships. This includes providing personalized service to RIA firms and their advisors, family offices, pension funds and charitable organizations and helping them achieve their unique objectives. Mike has three decades of investment industry and client service experience. Prior to Shelter Rock, he was a Senior Strategic Account Manager at Invesco where he managed the firms’ relationships with RIA firms and the leading US brokerage firms. Prior to this, Mike spent two decades at OppenheimerFunds where he was Vice President of National Accounts and managed the firms’ relationships with RIA firms, family offices and the leading US brokerage and custodial firms.
Mike has an MBA from Adelphi University and a BBA from the State University of New York at Oswego. He is also a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®).
Daniel is Vice President at Shelter Rock Management and he provides investment and financial guidance to the firms’ clients. Daniel has three decades of experience as a portfolio manager, an investment advisor and the former owner and operator of Stepping Stones Management, an independent investment advisory company. He was also previously a financial advisor at AG Edwards & Sons and Merrill Lynch.
Daniel has an MBA from Pace University and a BA in Economics from The College of the Holy Cross.
Shari is Director of Client Services and Administration at Shelter Rock Management. She manages the company’s daily office administration by preparing, processing and maintaining client brokerage account and compliance documents. Shari oversees a variety of operational support projects that help the company operate in an efficient manner. Prior to Shelter Rock, Shari worked in the non-profit sector for over a decade as a fundraising and event director for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Shari has a BBA and an MTA from the George Washington University.
Jason is an Investment Research and Trading Associate at Shelter Rock Management. He performs fundamental equity and credit research on Shelter Rock Management’s portfolio holdings by following our proprietary investment processes. He also provides trading support to assist with the management of client accounts.
Jason has a BBA in Finance from Villanova University.
