Jeff Barnett

Jeff provides investment advisory and retirement planning guidance to the firms’ clients.  Jeff has nearly three decades of high-level corporate finance and accounting leadership experience. He has worked in companies that range in size from early stage to Fortune 500 multinational businesses. Prior to Shelter Rock, Jeff was CFO of Precision Valve, VP of Finance at Sealed Air Corporation as well as Regional CFO and VP of Internal Audit for Delhaize Group while living and working in Europe. He also previously served as an Audit Senior Manager with KPMG.

Jeff has a BS in Business Administration and Accounting from Appalachian State University. Jeff and his wife Heather live in Greenville, SC and they live with their son Zack. Jeff’s older children Sarah, Allie, Claudia and Wes are working toward their graduate and undergraduate degrees. Jeff and Heather enjoy spending time traveling, golf and watching youth sports.
